Daimler Trucks North America - Where great people do great things! Job Functions - Identify, receive, locate, count, and pull core. Supply core material to all external and in house customers in a safe and timely manner. Operate wrenches, air tools, and gauges. Ability to identify numbers and retain to memory. Properly package, label, and distribute to proper location. Ship core that is required to complete different processes throughout the plant or returned for core credit. Cross trained in various job functions. Operation of computer on a basic level, capability of operating different types of material handling equipment, lifting weights of at least 70lbs, and being able to function at heights of 20ft. Individual may be required to work in outside elements. Must be able to read and follow local work instructions and verbal instruction. Basic Qualifications - High school diploma or GED required Good communication skills required Must have some or all of the following skills, some additional training will be expected: Understand the use of pneumatic and hand operated tools. Be able to read and follow Local work instructions. Be able to follow verbal instructions. Have the ability to operate computer programs. Capability of lifting minimum weight of 50lbs, and working knowledge of computer, hand and airtools. Individuals may be required to work overtime and weekends as needed. Keep work space clean, organized and free of safety hazards. Additional Information - Final candidate must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
